Eco-Friendly Products

When shopping, look for products that minimize the waste you produce during its useful lifecycle. Reusables might be a little more expensive, but are designed to last! Saving you money over time – you wont need to buy $2.99 paper towels forever, why not have some amazing alternatives that will last you years. Sustainable products made by companies that choose to use recycled materials or minimal packaging not only helps to reduce waste, but it also sends a message to manufacturers that there is a demand for more sustainable products.

Composting

All trashed food ends up in a landfill, contributing to 11% of global Co2 emissions as it goes to sit and decompose.

We can do better and it’s easy! Composting is an excellent way to reduce waste and create nutrient-rich soil for your garden or those in your community. Food waste and yard waste can be composted, reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfills. A simple way to collect this kind of waste is by getting a countertop composter or small bin to collect it in (they’re linked in our list).

Clean Energy
